If you're a student of modern history, and remember Operation Desert Storm and the liberation of Kuwait and the repelling of the Iraqi Revolutionary Guards from the country, it's worth a visit. In my opinion, although the museum gives some credit to the U.S. and the western powers for the liberation of this little emirate floating atop an ocean of... More

This museum tells an important story in Kuwait. The museum uses models and lightin to progress through the majority of the exhibits. The presentation is perhaps a tad slow, as I prefer to browse some exhbitis at my own pace. OVerall the museum was quite when I visited but we had no problem being welcomed in. The improtant artifacts and... More

What I liked about this private museum was the chronological journey provided in the different sections of the place. The museum starts with an introduction of the establishment of Kuwait as a trading hub, a land of mixed ethnic origions, and as a maritime and caravn nation. Then an overview of the current Kuwait, followed by the gruesome invasion. Tons... More

This is not quite what I expected. It was nice for the locals and the children especially. They display a nice miniature war showing the stages of the war. As far as actual war artifacts there was only a few items.

If you remember the Iraq invasion of Kuwait, even as a child we knew of this, then you should visit this museum. Don't be turned off by other reviews criticising the displays. The models depicting the war may not be to scale and may use toy solidiers and toy cars but really who are we to judge? This is someones... More
