After long years ago I just visited the place and recall the memories. It was the only place to enjoy and the only area with hotels and attraction. Now it's must seen after retiring the main area and became accessible by cars and walking. It represents Bahrain old history and worth a visit.

A very authentic place and a must to visit if you happen to be in town. You get things that you would normally not find in a modern mall.

Bab Al Bahrain is a place to visit. Since i moved my office in Manama I find time to explore the place. There are various shops that offers good items at an affordable prices. It is the place where you can find gold selling like a pancake. Souvenir items are everywhere.

Great experience here. The culture is to haggle (debate) with the store operators for a better price. A lot of fun for travelers who are accustomed to just buying what's on a price tag.

this is one of the main "tourist attractions" of Manama and if you're new to the region then i strongly suggest going there. The whole area is a bustle of goods, shops, faces, cultures, noise an smells. However it's also geared to the tourist trade so think twice before buying goods. Prices can be pretty spiced so this is a... More

It's ideal place to buy jewelry for gifts that's last.. It has loads of small shops inside selling all kind of jewelry- gold, stones and the famous Natural Bahrain pearls. They are known for their pearls as it used to be Bahrain's principal industry prior to the discovery of oil. You can even haggle, and if you have some broken... More
