This is a fun place to shop, but be warned. They will seek out the highest price. Do not be afraid to bargain and walk away if you can't get the price you want. Many stores around here sell similar merchandise, so you will be able to find what you are looking for somewhere else (and if you don't, you... More

A trip down the Souk takes you back to old Bahrain. Hustle bussle, small alleyways and hundreds of shops. There is a very nice restaurant/café just in side the Bab el Bahrain entrance arch. Walk through the arch and keep looking to your right about half way down..

If you want to see the heritage of the country, and buy very special and antique stuff, this is the place to go. You can also enjoy a lot of traditional food at restaurant in the area.

This is a really good souk if you are looking for fake watches and basically every other thing! The only downside, as with every souk in GCC countries, is the parking. There is not that many places and some time will need to be spent looking for a parking place.

Whenever I go to Bahrain, I like to visit Bab el bahrain and enjoy a walk in the morning between those narrow roads and little shops selling almost everything there: traditional clothes, spices, herbs, nuts, other clothes, small restaurant selling mostly Indian food. Just wear a comfortable shoes and walk around the area. Don't miss going inside ine of those... More

Inside a few shops and a few cafes with quite an edible food. However I noticed an unusual large number of flies. Outside an open market along narrow streets with various made-in-asia things, some of them quite nice. The traders are not disturbing, do not touch you and do not run after you. Safe. If you need something as a... More

Plenty of shops, some place to eat such a few steps forward on entering, a plush cafe is in the small mall situation a few mins forward on the right side as soon as entering the gate.

it was over crowded, I assume because I went on Friday but did not see a lot of locals there. All where Indians.. nothing much to see. I personally did not like it as people stare and sow couple of fights here and there. If you would like to visit I suggest you wear something bit covered coz there are... More
