We had a good experience, our only setback was that transportation out of the island took forever and was not organized.

Dear Gio, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I want to apologize if there was a setback on transportation out of the island. Please understand the day of your visit happened to be a public holiday where the island gets crowded due to people being off duty and when it comes time to leave the island they all... More

The jet sliers are out of hand, and management seem powerless or unwilling to do anything about it. Apparently foot passengers/visitors have to pay to go to Al Dar and pay for everything else when they get there. The jet skiers contribute nothing (including a free pass to the island apparently) except noise, pollution, and an arrogant attitude as they... More

Dear Mr. Martin, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent experience at Aldar. I apologize for the inconveniences you experienced. Please understand we care about our guests and their satisfaction is one of our top priorities. In regards to the jet skis we had banned them from the year 2011 and 2012... More

This is a place to escape to and provides lovely sand beach areas. If willing to spend a little you can stay over in one of the beachside chalets which are reasonably equipped. We did this and actually spent the night in one of the outside open-air huts - a liberating experience to say the least. Food is limited on... More

A day trip to this island from manama on a chalet is worth every penny. Truly gorgeous place to soak up the sun and feel the rushing waves. Well maintained too

Al Dar is a lovely little island. I recently stayed in one of their villas, which are gorgeous and face out towards he sea, meaning you have probably the best view from the island/gulf from all of your windows. The chalet's are clean, well appointed, and comfortable. They are about 110 BD for the large villa, but it can accommodate... More

it was easy to find the deport station, easy to get to your chalet. the chalet was very clean and nice. the view was of a factory and other factories. it made me not want to swim in the water. not to mention all of the debris all over the place. i was told there would be a beach cleanup... More

Visited here with friends we booked one of the huts but we were lucky that it was quiet that day. The huts were nice sun shades with pillows for comfort. The beach and sea cove was ok sand with shells.. And the cove was shallow for kids to paddle in. I hired a scuba mask and snorkel but not much... More

I have at Al Dar in 2014.The staff at Al Dar Island were so courteous & supportive. Staff is more than willing to go beyond but they are professional. Everything was exactly consistent right from room to food to service. The only suggestion to Al Dar island is to update food menu as there is very selective option's. I hope... More

This island is very very small, but you can miss visiting. The water are clear blue and the sights from there are amazing. A great place to relax and have fun with your family and friends.

The place is beautiful and very scenic. The water feels so good. We had stayed overnight so had booked a chalet. There are only 6 chalets so if you don't book it in advance then chances are you have to come back. You can also take day trips. This is a must visit before leaving Bahrain.
