The place is filthy, has poor maintenance and visible neglect to the animals and their conditions. After 5 minutes there, we left, we didn't want to see anymore.

As per the below reviews, I too thought the park would be wastage of time and energy. But to my surprise, it was clean and there where cleaners cleaning it time to time. However, it was very disheartening to see the poor animals. They looked really sad and trapped. Specially the tigers, lion and the leopards. The space provided was... More

Read the bad reviews on this page. They are ALL true. Apart from totally inadequate facilities for the poor wild animals being kept there, there is filth everywhere - including the cages. People just throwing their food wrappers wherever they stand & also AT the animals in their enclosures. Animals improperly kept in too small enclosures. Uneducated, idiot visitors &... More

Located near the Formula One track and very easy to get to from the Manama area. Admission is only 1BD and the place is nothing spectacular but it is a cheap way to spend a couple hours. The poor rating is due to the fact that park could be cleaner and the cages some of the animals are in are... More

I would strongly recommend that you do not visit this place. The standards of care for the animals is woefully inadequate and obviously cater to a clientele who neither know nor care. I watched a pack of saluki dogs yanked around, kicked at and hit by children and adults who clearly have no idea how to treat a sentient animal... More

I've been here when I was very young and loved it. The animals are beautiful and the facility looked nice. As I'm now older I understand that these animal are not happy, they are swaying side to side as their facilities are just meters by meters wide, the exotic animals look sad and seem imprisoned, after all they are imprisoned.... Bahrain Al Areen wildlife park is located in Zallaq, Bahrain. It consists of species native to Bahrain, both animals, birds and plants, as well as some animals from India. The Water Bird Park is located in the middle of the Al Areen wildlife Park and consists of five artificial lakes designed to suite the bird’s species and mostly the migrant... More

Nice wild life park with wild animals view from glasses walls............Kids will enjoy very close view of leopard, white tiger, hyenas, bears and others. The birds park, ostriches, camels, ducks are out in the open and one can have close looks. The bus tour will last for 30 minutes with frequent stops to view various animals like giraffe, deers, etc... More

I was very disappointed in this park, since the animals weren't taken care of the way they where supposed to. First of all the park was filthy with trash, the areas where there was supposed to be water such us man made rivers, water falls, where empty. Animals where showing signs of stress and over heat. Turtles and porcupine where... More
