Since I went there during low season, there wasn't much to complaint. The mosque was clean, transport there and back to Al Haram was easy but there were some selfish pilgrims(women) who refused to go up to pray but instead prayed at the staircase blocking easy access to the woman's section. The mosque caretakers should be more strict to these... More

Its a masjid and place where you go to start the Ihram for the second Omrah inplace of miqate. You do not need to spend time or prary. Once you reach there you could state the niyah again.

Also known as Masjid Aisha. It's the place where people from Makkah go to wear Ihram for umrah. It's a nice quiet place open around the clock.

As this is the nearest miqat point for umrah, it is just around 10km away. you can go there by htaxi, hire car/van or bus. And the cheapest option is by bus -2 riyal only. And by van 5 riyal per person.

Found the masjid and facilities relatively clean. I particularly liked the inside of the masjid and the outside was very well maintained. There are plenty of 'mini bus taxis' to & from the masjid to the Haram that charge a few Riyaals (compared to the normal car taxis).

A lovely mosque also known as Masjid Ayesha. About 11km away from Kaabah. This is believed to be the point where Ayesha (RA) stopped and rested until her menstruation period finished and she continued from here to the Ka'abah to do Umraah with Muhammed (SAW). However, the Mufti at the Kabaah informed me that this is not the case and... More
