Impressive assortment of modern Arabic art in lovely modern multi-floor gallery setting. The Gallery is actually two two buildings. The other is across the square.

It had two floors of exhibits, and one floor was not set up yet. There was paintings on display from Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, and other Arab nations. If you stay at the Le Meridien Amman, a free pass will be available in your welcome package in your room.

This is a wonderful gallery , indeed there are two on opposite sides of a delightful square located in old Amman . There is a wide range of artistic styles from traditional to abstract featuring well know Jordanian artists as well as those from other Middle East countries . The staff are very friendly and helpful and there is a... More

The collection of paintings and sculptures is housed in two buildings separated by beautiful gardens which also display larger sculptures. National Gallery mainly displays contemporary art. Collection includes many works from Jordan, wider Middle East as well as Africa. I loved the collection. For any true art lover this is a must. There is a small entrance fee 5 JD... More

Is located in two different buildings to get from one to another had to pass sculpture garden which is nice small park (there are very few places like that in Amman). Almost missed the other building. As i am not an expert of Arab art i would appreciate a lot more information about authors.

Loved it! Fab building with a lovely cafe overlooking a sculpture garden opposite. Great selection of works from artists not only from Jordan, but Syria, Palestine, Bangladesh, Iran and many other countries. Well worth a visit on a hot day for it is a cool haven!

The nice thing about this gallery is that it is in two buildings straddling a small garden where there are sculptures. We spent a pleasant couple of hours here, and you can have a coffee at the Canvas cafe nearby

This art gallery offers a thorough representation of Jordanian art and cultural scenes. Featuring a number of different paintings and sculptures, this art collection spans two separate buildings, located a short walk across a park from one another. While the subjects and the mediums are all varied, each piece is a unique representation of the artist’s personal style as well... More

I like art galleries so I might be biased, but I really liked this art gallery. One reason might be that it was quite hard to find down the back-streets of central Amman, which maybe explains why it was practically empty throughout our visit - even the curator wasn't at his desk to issue our tickets when we arrived. It... More
