Amman is a city of stark contrast of very wealthy areas and poverty. The people are friendly. Save your energy for Petra and Gerasa. The Citadel and other Roman ruins are worth visiting (once). More

I normally just go for a wander myself but it was definitely worth doing the tour. Such a beautiful city. I'll definitely return to this one. More

We visited the ruins of the Citadel and the small museum , the Roman amphitheater and the folk art museum and the King Abdullah mosque as part of a group tour around Jordan, and found them to be very interesting. More

Amman is a city with something for everyone. We enjoyed the ruins, the Old Citadel, amphitheatre and everything ancient that Amman has to offer. It also has great hotels and restaurants. Our guide was excellent. He took us on a full trip of the city and we walked around the vegetable souk and markets as well. He bought several foodie items for us to try like desserts, faflfel ( the very best I have ever tasted) and whole almonds still in their husk for us to try. We didn't try the... More

A sprawling metropolis that was amazing to see. The Citadel and Amphtingitheatre were excellent. Downtown was a bustling vibrant precinct, very interesting and exciting. Try a sweet called Kanifeh (sp?) great experience even in just visiting the shop! More

I can highly recommend Jordan Experience. The tours we have booked with them - 3 days tours were excellent! All Drivers/guides were very knowledgeable. A City tour in Amman is a must More
