Just loved it. Goes through different centuries, styles and history of the cars owned by the Royal Family.

Great collection of old and new cars & motorcycles. Well set out and is a good opportunity to change the pace when exploring Amman. Good information on the displays which we found interesting.

The late King Hussein is highly regarded in Jordan. But there is something shocking that an absolute monarch can justify owning this quantity of vehicles. And while it is interesting to see how cars have changed over the decades, it is difficult to enjoy a guilkt free visit when you see how hard his people are having to work to... More

Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for visiting the Royal Automobile Museum. We attempt to showcase the automotive journey of Jordan through the cars of His Majesty the late King Hussein. Most of these cars illustrate the history of the country since 1916. For example, The 1952 Lincoln was used for His Majesty's accession to the throne in 1953 while the 1958... More

The museum is ridiculous. I didn't realise how much I could enjoy a car museum until I went here. The previous king of Jordan had a real love for cars and motorcycles so it's basically a museum of incredible cars in top condition. It's well set up as each car has a small description on the car / motorcycle itself... More

It's one of the places one must visit when in Amman. A collection of automobiles and motorcycles belonging to the Amman royalty is on display here. The roadsters are used as conduits to tell the history of the Hashemite dynasty of Jordan. They plied the ancient caravan routes, taking the reigning kings to the interiors to keep in touch with... In Amman, I visited only 1 attraction and this museum did not disappoint. The historical link to Jordan & King Hussein as well as the vehicles' history are well presented. It was interesting to see many of the WW2 era vehicles up close and personal. Many high performance sports cars and top of the range limousines were displayed. Many motorcycles... More

This was a concession to my partner, I was going to drag him around Petra so I felt I should allow him to decide where we went in Amman. I thought I would be bored. In actual fact it is an excellent collection of cars and motor bikes all backed up with the history a each vehicle and the part... More
