When I knew I was going to Jordan on business I thought I'd check out the things to do on here. Couldn't believe a motor museum would be the highest rated attraction in Amman :) The museum is located outside the main city in King Hussein park, next to the Children's museum. IT was only 3 JD to get in... More

I think this is one of the most successful museums in Jordan. Very well organized, and I like the idea that it feels like going through a story, the story of Jordan's history, while viewing a rare collection of cars. Recommended! More

The Royal Automoobile Museum has a very well displayed and hugely attractive collection of vehicles. These range from early bone-shaking contraptions to the most futuristic designs. The cars are in immaculate condition and the museum is very well thought out with detailed information in English and Arabic. The Museum can be hired for special occassions and makes a wonderful venue... More

If you have some free time you should not miss the opportunity to visit the Royal Cars Museum in the King Hussein Cultural Center. It has broad collection of luxury cars which were owned by Royal Family and some of them are still in use occasionally. Also there are Children Musem and big park nearby. More

Great museum or should i say collection of cars. All well maintained, shame the country does not get exactly same kind of attention that the cars do. Priorities i suppose, cart before the horse. Great history, nice to see the King Hussein in his earlier days, in many wonderful photos, much loved man and King. Would love to have been... More

We went there on a cold and wet day when it was too miserable to be outside. (In March, the weather can be quite poor.). Neither I nor my wife are particularly interested in cars but the collection of cars is quite stunning and the collection is put in the context of the history of Jordan and the Hashemite monarchy... We had a spare day in Amman and decided to visit this museum. A good collection of cars and bikes even if you are not car-mad. You can get through the museum in around an hour. We got the audio guide - very detailed information and a bit much to take in for a younger family. There is information to... More
