Again I profess and since you don't know me.. please trust me.. I heart open air markets and the possibility that at such I might find some amazing little treasure.. I always put them down as a must see and this one and the one in Tel Aviv were so horrible and such a total let down I honestly feel... More

The telaviv-jaffa flea market is a maze of streets and alleys loaded with third hand junk and wannabe antiques woven with small restaurants, pubs and peddlers. Its extremely lively and fun for a few hours to stroll with the family or friends, walk down nostalgic lane for prehistoric furniture , records, crappy electronics and a status of Merlyn monroe .... This place was at one time a true flea market with a wide assortment of musty stalls, shops, mats on ground and covered passageways full of bright, old, local, imported items for sale/bargaining. You could find some amazing treasures if you had the patience to really search out the place. I remember before my first foreign gig to Japan, I... More

this place has it's charm with a combination of stores, booths, restaurants and street food. you can find there new arts and crafts, genuine antiquities and tons of junk... so, not sure you'll purchase your life bargain - but surely you'll see so many things, meet so many interesting people, smell and taste all this good food. and in the... We enjoyed a relaxed two hour visit of the Jaffa Flea Market. If you are looking for used sneakers, audio cassettes, glasses, electronic devices - here you are... But you can get also furniture and the ususal souvenirs. Lots of restaurants to have a second breakfast or early lunch. Relaxing!

This is old place full of poor people who are trying to sell everything they somehow got over all their lives - broken phones, old russian radios, cameras etc. They even are not able to find some adapters for those gadgets. But this is perfect place for relaxing. You can forget your perfect life full of nervous people. It is... More

Our teens were a bit disappointed not having enough time in the Shuk (Old Jerusalem); as we were in Jaffa we decided to spend some "shkalim" in the flea market. It was worth it ! Clothes, jewellery, antiques, etc. bargaining is a must. some incredible junk stores. try to find the one with a very old (1942) motorbike, this door... More

So much to see! Every square inch is covered in jewelry, knick-knacks, and antiques. Definitely worth a walk-through if you're in the area. Keep in mind that you look at anything for longer than five seconds, the vendor will take this as a cue to start pitching half the store to you.
