We discovered Ilana Goor in 2012 and splurged on many of her creations. We even ordered additional pieces, once back in the United States. On this visit, we emulated our 2012 experience and, as I told the manager when we left, we now have enough Ilana Goor originals to open an Ilana Goor branch in New York

This museum/house is really interesting, and a very unique and special place. Kids and adults both like it, and the views from the roof are outstanding. You don't need to be an art or museum lover to enjoy this place. It should not be missed on a visit to Jaffa.

In old Jaffa, worth visiting if you like modern art in all it's variety. Statues by Goor and other artists, lots of paintings, photography, just weird old things, some very interesting and memorable, others well, not so much. Atmosphere of wild creation. Interesting place for open minded art lovers.

We had limited time to visit museums in Tel Aviv, and because it was a "holiday weekend", they were only open from 10-2 on Saturday. It was located near the Old City of Jaffa. The artist lives here and has a wide variety of art. Some is hers and she collects statues, paintings, furniture. It's a short walk to the old city... More

I'm not an artist, but the setting was too good to pass up. However, I was not impressed. I gues I'm just not sophisticated enough to appreciate the art. My favorite parts of the museum were the views from the rooftop and the furniture she designed.

Visiting Old Jaffa , walking along the sea shore and visiting the Museum is a very nice experience. The whole area is remarkable. Old and new together. Get off the main street and take a walk between the private houses (some of them in special styles).

This museum (that is also the house of Ilana Goor) is an building with interesting history, the combination between the history of it to the art is great and make this place realy special. Don't expect to classic art : the collection here contains iron sculptures of Ilana Goor eclectic arts from "primitive" places around the world and from Israel.... More

Ilana sculpture and designer with several decades. When she returned to Israel after years in the US she purchased an 18th century house in old Jaffa and broke every municipal law in the books in expanding it in all possible direction including below ground. Finally she made peace with the bureaucracy and the result is a fascinating eclectic gallery showcasing... More
