I cycle with my wife and 6 year old daughter every Saturday. Crossing the entire path from the Eastern part of the Yarkon River towards the sea and the Tel Aviv Port / Tayelet. It's a great way to get to know the city park area. Try to avoid cycling there after 10am during Saturday as it gets crowded. If... More

A delightfully green and quiet park in the center of Tel-Aviv. Many activities. Boating on the Yarkon "River" (actually a stream)/

The Stones played in Haysrkon Park and the location just north of TA is perfect. Can't say much about the park because we just walked through to the concert.

If the weather's not too hot, it's a pleasant place to ride a paddle boat or drive a small motor boat for an hour. The motor boat is a bit expensive 149 shekels for 1 hour but if you ask nicely you can get an extra 10 minutes. There are bike paths and you can rent a bike and go... More

Large and peaceful; tables and open grassy meadows. Good place to take a day off. Bring a picnic lunch with you.

Spacious place for biking, though greenery is all burned out. The place is deserted. Public bike stations are hard to find. Navigational signs are poor and don't tell much. Only one shady cafeteria, there's a chance you won't find a place to buy water.

Rocs and cactuses park is really amazing, while pretty isolated and not so good promoted in Tel Aviv tourist guides. Cactus park is very well organized and presents a lot of amazing plants. This place is much better then most of botanic gardens I've visited in Europe and US..

Beautiful, clean and perfectly organized park north of Tel Aviv. Great bike ride or walk. Lots of sports activities along the paths, lots of children playgrounds,, nice grass, clouds of green parrots, places where to share a picnic. Ovrall, the crowd is friendly and casual. It is in this park that you can see how active the TA population is.... More
