This is a well laid out facility and is certainly worth a trip. The exhibition is comprehensive and the building is well designed. The name says it all.

A very informative museum if not somewhat surprising quiet during my visit. There are timelines on the floor throughout the exhibition so that you can put events into context. Only grumble is that my audio guide always seemed to start halfway through virtually all the exhibits. Next time i think i will go around with a guide. Location-wise You can... More

This museum is a must to go to if you are in TLV! The way it's been set up is great and very impressing. You walk through the life of Rabin, and alongside get an idea how the rest of the world was like during those periods. Simply great.

It sets out Rabin's life as a time line explaining the history of Israel and linking it to other contemporaneous world events. The centre is set out on a spiral and you gradually travel... More

Yitzak Rabin , who was a leader in the Israel Armed Forces, was later the Prime Mimister, led a peace process with the Arabic neighbours and assasinated. We spent three hours at this museums following the video clips and photos that tell his story interwined with the story of modern Israel. We felt we leant a lot about them The... More

Israel seems to be in a perpetual state of conflict with its neighbours. We visited YRC in a period when missiles were being launched continuously by Hamas from an extensive underground system of tunnels targeted to harm Israeli communities or at least reign terror and havoc. The YRC tells two inextricably intertwined stories; the birth of Israel to 1995 and... More
