Herod's Palace in Bethlehem was a just amazing for me.The tour guide lady explained it all so well that it all made perfect sense. I loved hearing the stories, King Herod was a nut.
Not far from Jerusalem in the Judean Desert is the place King Herod prepared to be the place of his grave, but his grave was ruined quite soon after he died. although i didn't really went into the history of the place, it is a great place to chill out and watch the beautiful panoramic desert which surronds the site, and breath some clean air only 15 minutes drive from bustling Jerusalem

The tomb is not currently visitable. The Vistas are incredible, go early when it is clear to get the best views. Great... More
