This was a really interesting tour and well organized! In total it was just about 45 minutes in length and had a lot of really good information. Our Guide was excellent, she was easy to understand and made the tour a great experience More

Whenever you read the holy Bible about king Hezekiah and the wonderful kingdom he created and asked yourself was it true? Well, it appears that everything was true.. When you visit in city of David you can step 3000 years back to the concur of old Jerusalem by David clan (Read about it on the Bible..), before he became a... More

Two weeks ago, our group walked through the water tunnels built by King Hezekiah. To learn more, read II Kings 20. Really amazing! In and around Jerusalem, there are a lot of shrines that are full of candles, incense, rocks to kiss, etc., etc. There are very few places that people people can say for certain, that this place actually... Take into account that at the entrance the water level is 70 cm, after that is only 20-30, an incredible experience More

This is a no brainer for anyone interested in the bible or ancient history. Here you have a tunnel dug by King Hezekiah, King of Judea, to bring water into the city as a preparation for the Assyrian siege. You get to walk through the tunnel for several hundred meters and come out at the very pool of Shiloach which... More

It was an amazing tunnel. Make sure you avoid screaming singing school groups ,where it seems the normal thing to scream all the way through. Make sure out have a torch, there is no light all the way. Its 500 m. Long. More

Exciting walk in water underground. We started in the City of David. Most pleasant that the water was so clean. Had to read the story of the tunnel in the Bible. More

Hezekiah's Tunnel is on most peoples list of things to do in Jerusalem. I am glad we did it. They warned us that if you have claustrophobia to not go in it. I agree, I do not have that problem but did get a bit of it once in the tunnel. Do not let that stop you. The tunnel is... More

This wonderful attraction combines history with a bit of adventure. Aside from following the good advice in the reviews below, you'd do well to read up on the tunnels before you arrive. One other thing: the Israelite workers who constructed the tunnel carved an inscription, written in the ancient Hebrew alphabet, describing just how the tunnel was excavated. Unfortunately, archeologists... More
