I always pass through French Square on my way somewhere though I must admit I have always thought of it as the " Fountain Intersection" owing to the lovely green fountain in the middle of its plaza. With the Prima King's Hotel on one side, a Monastery on the other, the Conservative Synagogue complex on another and a sunken supermarket... More

This seems like the biggest square in downtown Jerusalem, and a main intersection point where beautiful streets such as King George V, Keren Ha'Yesod and Ramban st. meet together. The buildings all around give it a neoclassical feel and look of a western European metropolin. Take a walk down any direction and despite the busy streets you'll enjoy nice views... More
