Beautifully landscaped, plenty to see.I took my grandchildren there, and they really enjoyed it. Fascinating to see all of the animals mentioned in the bible that are there.

Set in a green valley the Zoo has many animals and birds, some mentioned in the Bible, others from afar. A delightful place to take your children, Bus and train service.

The Biblical Zoo is a large compound with an added agenda of preserving endangered species and (controlled) releasing of animals back to their habitat whenever possible. The exhibits, as in modern zoos, simulate the animals' environment as much as possible, and ensure that the animals are kept active and busy so that their mental requirements are met alongside their physical... Loved this zoo. Favorite was talking with the Monday volunteer in the petting zoo area while watching the armadillo skitter around and having young goats chew on my jeans. The wolves were awesome, would come right up to the glass and snarl and act fierce (and then wag their tails like pets). I've never seen zebras from above before, such... More

Of course any big zoo shows you the same kinds of animals, just that here these animals live in a mock-up of their original living environment. The zoo is clean, beautifully landscaped and shows, where ever possible, the relationship of each animal to the Bible. For the young (of heart) there is a parrot-house where the colorful birds can be... More

Well, this is definitely not the best Zoo in the world, but not a bad place to visit with kids. Plan for half-a day visit.

Large but cosy zoo with many animals, birds and fishes inside a botanical garden with trees from many countries, It is not exactly biblical, because some animals which are exposed here don't mentioned in the Bible such as penguins. There is no direct public transport to zoo from center of city. Use a special touristic city tour bus or taxi.

Biblical Zoo in Jerusalem large and rich in animals. Place is very well maintained and spacious. Possible to transfer Put five to six hours easily. Missing buffets and restaurant with a variety of food who enhance the experience as is commonly found in parks around the world. Has a snack with a relatively limited number of options food.
