This is a must see in Jerusalem. Along with the Old City, it helps the visitor understand what Israel is all about. Unlike other Holocaust museums, this one is designed with hope in mind. The visitor leaves grieving and nostalgic for more innocence but invigorated and hopeful for the future. No one should visit Israel without touring this museum. more

Yad Vashem, the holocaust museum in Jerusalem is a very accurate depiction of what happened in the holocaust during WW2. Yad Vashem encompasses much more than just one building. The outdoor exhibits themselves are incredibly moving and meaningful and are best seen with a guide to explain each of them.
