I've been to Israel 8 times before and I've never heard of this place. So I was skeptical when it was recommended to me for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah. But it was the best possible choice. The facility was rustic but authentic and fun. The Sukkah where the Bat Mitzvah was held was a unique special place. The tour after... More

Biblical garden and nature reserve. Beautiful location, great and informatve tous. Many fun activities for children (especially during holidays). Visited today on the eve of Chanuka and saw olive oil being pressed and a potter making and explaining the origin of clay lights. Meaty Kosher meals available if ordered in advance. A lovely day out near Modi'in.

We've been here before- a generation ago with our children, and now with their children. The place us OK- I've never been too excited about it. It is a rustic location with basic amenities- snack bar and facilities. The site is large and difficult to cover it all on foot. The posted explanations are not detailed enough and one needs... Went during Sukkot and there was a very interesting array of different examples of Sukkot. It was especially great for kids as there were live animals (donkey, camel, sheep), a gymboree, art projects, and a musical performance. There were nice views of the surrounding countryside, and I learned several things and thought it was overall nicely put together.

Our group was not able to explore the place since we arrived when it was already dark after touring other places in Jerusalem. However, we were served a good Passover dinner, with someone explaining how Passover dinner was traditionally observed. Some members of our group were also given some costumes to wear to have a more authentic experience

This is a lovely natural reserve, apx. a 20-30 minute drive west of Jerusalem. It consists of trees and animals that were abundant in Israel during Biblical times. There are several trails available to explore and a nice lake with some ducks swimming in it. Great for kids.

Lovely place with a lake in the middle and many ducks. For bird watchers it's the ideal place. The place offers as well some old ruins. A good time to go there is the spring.

bit out of the way,not much of infrastructure (eg food); but wonderful place to explore, lovely walks with various themes. Interesting quotes from bible relating to specific biblical plants. Can see olive oil & wine presses.

Nature lovers, History lovers and Bible lovers this is a place for you to enjoy a walk in a beautiful and very big park (ca 625 acres). Learn, touch, smell and even taste the plants described in the Bible. Four nice paved hikes are waiting for you, just enter, go to the visitor's center and for a small fee you'll... More

This park lets visitors actually plant their own tree, although the park staff is a little disorganized. We got the impression they more often deal with tour groups and school groups rather than with individual travelers. Nevertheless, we very much enjoyed our visit. In addition to the tree-planting, there are a number of hiking trails in the park, which is... More
