A visit to this museum gives a different perspective to modern Israeli history from the perspective of a man who broke the Labor monopoly on power and saved Israel from a civil war while it was fighting the war of Independence. It's a very carefully programmed visit to the museum part, so you won't be able to see everything on... More

A touching place which tells the story of Israel sixth prime minister from boyhood till the end of his life. You can be either right wing or left wing and still be touched by a humble and modest man, a leader that only his people's interest stands in front of him. The story is presented through movies describing important stages... More

The museum at the Menachem Begin Centre does a brilliant job of telling the life story of one of Israel's most significant leaders using a mixture of modern technology and archive material .This is a definite must do for anyone interested in Israel's history. The museum is housed in a lovely building set into a hillside. The view from the... More

The Begin Museum, located walking distance from the Inbal, King David, and other motels, chronicles the life of former prime Minister begin- from his Eastern European childhood through his time as prime minister. The pictures, videos, and items from his life pain a vivid picture of this icon's life. It very much reminded me of the Ronald Reagan Library in... More

This museum is well designed to get a complete look at the man, his education, his travails, his philosophies, and politics. Visit is only by guide, so make a reservation. They rush you a little, but still well worth the time. There is also a beautiful view of the old city walls where you can have a coffee or snack.

I visited the Begin center and almost lefr before seeing it as I encountered unhelpful staff but that would have been a huge mistake. True you cannot go round at your own pace and that is a big problem but the tours are very good and extremely informative and also it shows some of the negatives about Begin which there... More

There were several factors that made this museum one to skip. First, the museum is designed so that one cannot go at one's own pace. You are herded from room to room by a guide. You cannot really ask questions because the tour is timed and if you have a conversation it will cut into the next presentation. Each room... More

This museum is informative, interesting, and has a gorgeous location. The facility is kept clean. Since there isn't much walking, it is great for people with limited mobility. Additionally, the museum's multi-media design allows you to see the life and legacy of Menachem Begin through many facets, including his personal archives. While some people say that they felt rushed because... More
