We spent a day touring the Old City of Jerusalem and the City of David. Danny is an amazing guide. He presents the balagan of Jerusalem in a marvelous mixture of history, religion, archaeology, and politics. An eye opening experience. And he's a nice guy to spend a day with too.

I can't recommend Danny highly enough. As a trained archaeologist, he knows the historical significance of the Jewish and Christian holy sites in Israel and stays informed of recent developments in biblical archaeology. He knows the land of Israel like the back of his hand. As a Catholic Christian, I also appreciated his deep knowledge of the New Testament and... More

Recently we were in Israel for a week and our hosts arranged a number of wonderful day trips. One was to Caesarea, the port city on the coast north of Tel Aviv that was largely built by King Herod the Great. Our guide for our day trip to Caesarea was Danny Hermann, who calls himself Danny the Digger, as he... More

We had a group of 8 and were with Danny for 3 days. We learned so much! Being with an archeologist that was raised in this country, gave an even greater understanding to what you are seeing. He is very respectful no matter what your faith is, and will show you all the sights you must see while here. Very... More

Very nice visit of both Old Jaffa and Tel Aviv with an exceptional guide that gave me the opportunity to have a better understanding of that part of Israel in few hours! I was hoping to visit Jerusalem that day, but there were adverse weather conditions (snow) and Tel Aviv was the best option. I hope to have the opportunity... More

Danny did a wonderful job of bringing Israel's past and present to life through his archaeological and biblical knowledge as well has teaching skills. He was able to address the needs of a father (50) and daughter (20) that have different histories in Israel to engage both of us and ensure we both walked away from our time with a... More

Danny Herman knows his stuff and explains the archeology and biblical references in such a way that you feel the rich history of the land of Israel and get to understand how the geography and and the stories and the facts come together. This was my first trip to Israel and Danny helped our 3 generation family get the broad... More

We are a Christian family of five from the United States. Danny gave us an outstanding tour of Jerusalem and Herodian. His archaeology background and knowledge of the Old and New Testament is impressive and his explanations brought the holy sites to life. Our three teenage children loved his tours.
