Danny Herman knows his stuff and explains the archeology and biblical references in such a way that you feel the rich history of the land of Israel and get to understand how the geography and and the stories and the facts come together. This was my first trip to Israel and Danny helped our 3 generation family get the broad... More

We are a Christian family of five from the United States. Danny gave us an outstanding tour of Jerusalem and Herodian. His archaeology background and knowledge of the Old and New Testament is impressive and his explanations brought the holy sites to life. Our three teenage children loved his tours.

With just 3 days for our first Israel trip (booked last-minute), my wife and I wanted to make the most of our short time there. We chose Danny because of his rich background: native-born, fluent in English, an Archeologist by training. He surpassed every expectation! He helped us craft an amazing three days -- Jerusalem, Jaffa, Caesarea, and the Galilee... More

Danny led our group on a three-hour tour of the Old City. He was probably the best tour guide I have had in my life, and I'm 68. He is an archeologist and an expert on the history and archeology of Jerusalem, including the history of the three major monotheistic religions. I've been studying Jewish history for decades and learned... More

Danny guided us through important cultural and historic sites in Jerusalem as well as Masada and the Dead Sea. He additionally arranged an excellent tour for us with others (Avraham and Galit) in Tel Aviv. His mastery of the history of this region is phenomenal and his passion for the subject material is infectious, thus engaging the attention of our... More

I just returned from my first trip to Israel, where because of business, I had only one day to spend in Jerusalem. On the recommendation of a colleague and friend, I got in touch with Danny via email, setting up a day with him in Jerusalem. My experience with Danny exceeded all my expectations and provided me with a complex,... More

I traveled to Israel for work in November of this year, and it was my first trip to Israel. I was by myself for the first part of the trip, and previous to my arrival I had contacted some co-workers about a tour guide. Danny came highly recommended from my associates. I talked to Danny via email prior to my... More

My wife and I travelled to Israel with 8 children, two nannies and a catholic priest. Danny showed us his country with a passion and flair that can only be delivered by a native, an archeaologist AND a Jew specializing in Christian archaeology. His knowledge, humor, resourcefulness, flexibility and charm allowed us to see Israel in a way you simply... More

We had a guided tour with Danny for a whole day in Jerusalem. Although I've been numerous times in Jerusalem, Danny still managed to tell us things I was unaware of. His insights and knowledge are quite remarkable. Highly recommended!
