When in Haifa, my husband and I heard that one of the places we had to see were the Baha'i Gardens. I truly did not know what to expect in the middle of a city, but to much of our surprise, these gardens were absolutely stunning and truly a sanctuary in the middle of a bustling metropolis. If anything, the... More

Most beautiful gardens I have ever seen (and I travel a lot). Best time to visit is spring (March to May), then the gardens have many more flowers and much more colorful. Check their website for the garden tour times and language as one cannot just walk in.

Even though it is not allowed to enter the site you can appreciate the view from the gates. Astonishing place on the top of Mount Carmel.

No visit to Israel's North is complete without a visit to the Baha'i Gardens! The view is simply out of this world and the care taken in keeping the grounds is unparalleled worldwide! There is a tour available but is restricted to certain areas of the Gardens - presumably to maintain control over any damage that may take place by... More

Baha gardens start from Top of the hill close to town, Looks like there are 3 sections to it. I do not think you can walk through the gardens from top to the bottom, at least when i visited, only small sections were open to public. It is a must if you are visiting the area.

The place is located in the center of Haifa hill. The gardens are beautiful and the Baha'i church as well. In the night it is nice to it from the street under (Ben Gurion av.) You should pay attention to the opening hours.

If and when you come to Haifa, the capital of the Israeli north district, the Bahai Gardens are a must. Situated on top of a high slope over watching the Haifa Bay area, the gardens are beautiful by themselves and provide a great landscape view of the bay and the city. Please note that the inner gardens near the temple,... More

A must on any trip to Haifa but visits must be arranged in advance. Most beautiful gardens and site. Guides very nice. Also didn't know anything about Bah'ai so interesting.

it is one of Israel seven wonders, the eye can't have enough, the view of the combination of green gardens and the blue of the sea makes it all. Con: don't bother planning your visit by the opening time of the temple, there is nothing to see there as they limit the access to one room with nearly nothing inside.
