You have to walk a lot because it’s not just one big area, but three that are not communicated between them. Entrances if free of charge, you just have to show your bags for security check. If you want to see the shrine go first as it’s open just from 9 to 12. Baha’i gardens are beautiful but you cannot... More

We have never seen anything like this! It is situated on one of the highest points in Haifa. The gardens are perfectly manicured by 150 gardeners daily. The gardens , views , & grounds are breathtaking. For the true gardeners , it is a must !! For the rest of us, it is amazing. We did miss the tour &... More

Like a paradise. Remember to check their website first to see the time of the tour so you could get inside of the garden. The only problem is you cannot stay longer.

This tour was a great free 45 minute tour down 700 steps through beautiful a beautiful garden with stunning panoramic views of the city. The English tour is at noon each day. I can't fault anything with their egalitarian philosophy either.

The Baha'i Gardens are beautiful and the view of Haifa and the Mediterranean sea from the top is breathtaking. I recommend going early (9am when it opens) when it is not busy with tourists. Unfortunately you cannot walk up to the dome from the bottom but must go around to the very top. Regardless it is worth the trek just... More

The Baha'i gardens and Shrine of the Bab, recently deemed a World Heritage Site, is truly one of the most beautiful spots on earth. To realize that this place was a desert rock mountain just 200 years ago before Baha'u'llah (the Glory of God), founder of the Baha'i Faith (the newest major world religion) was exiled here in fulfillment of... The garden is beautiful. Unfortunately wen v went, it was very cold and rainy and snowy rather. So we could not go inside the temple but we saw it from outside and it was jus mind blowing. Surely we missed going inside and view the breadth taking view from there...

A definite "must see". The gardens are a "must" for your picture album. While you are in Haifa, take some time and learn about the Baha'i.

It is rather unique and has a cultural history behind it that is quite informative. The doors to the garden close early in the evening so check the times if you want to go inside the garden including climbing steps.
