Having just returned from visiting Israel the beauty, sereness and sheer majesty of the gardens and buildings can only be justified by a visit. I'm Israeli and just can't believe this is ranked # 1 in Israel!! With all respect to the Bahai people, and yes the garden is very pretty... this is NOT why you would come to Israel, and definitly not the # 1 attraction in Israel. Sometimes I think tripadvisor isn't what it used to be. Try books. more

I have to say that I have organised the trip to Haifa just for this. And I'm not sorry. I would recommend it to everyone on a sunny day, not later then octomber so you can enjoy the colours that these gardens have to show. It's an amazing experience.... Nothing could prepare me for the absolute beauty, serenity and peacefulness of this place. I am not really a garden person but the gardens are absolutely spectacular in their symmetry, layout and design. Last me start with what is not good: Those gardens are divided in the middle, and at once you can only visit one part of it. Maybe it is able to book both tours on the same day, but it's still two bookings. Even though it's all down-hill, the walk is really long, and there are many steps. There is... more

When you are surrounded by these gorgeous gardens and beautiful architecture, you can leave behind the outside world and focus on the real, spiritual self. The gardens are a testimony that the positive, constructive side of man can triumph over his less encouraging attributes. The most beautiful place in Haifa, and for Baha'is one of the most special places on earth. Great place for reflection and meditation. I love this place and can't wait to go back. more
