This bridge enables larger yachts and sailboats to enter and leave the lagoons by closing the pedestrian crossing and lifting the bridge which divides in two halves.;also it is the only main artery of the beach promenade connecting all the hotels to the city.

Cute. A major photo-stop. You can see the Gulf of Eilat from one side and the canal leading to the marina on the other. It's fun to be on the drawbridge when the tall masted boats go through. A bell rings and you have to get off the bridge so it can open. That's always fun to watch.
