Located halfway between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv on the western slopes of the Judean Hills, this archaeological site has unearthed important finds from ancient times including the two oldest Hebrew documents ever found, a row of ten monolithic stone steles from the Bronze age and a magnificent water cistern.
