Great place to visit don't miss it. you can see Istanbul 360 degree from the water with wonderful view. Very easy to visit it. If you are in the European side of Istanbul you have to take the ferry boat to Uskudar than go with a taxi to the Maiden tower and take another small boat to reach it.

Very romantic. An amazing story about how it got its name. Great views. And you can go through the new tunnel under the Bosphorus to get there.

My friend took me here at sunset to see the lights of the city come on. I loved it! It is in the middle of the Bospherous. Lots of stairs to climb, but very worth it when you get to see the entire city. I loved the story behind it too. I hear the food and drink are very expensive,... More

This tower is built on a very small rocky island in the middle of the bosphourus, you can reach it by its own boat departing every hour from Kabatach area, the tickets are paid on board ( 20 TL per adult person, 10 TL per a child up to 12 yo) the small boat cuts the distance from the shore... The girls tower is a small nice place built in the sea by a king to save her daughter from the snake bite, but the snake got its way through some utilities carried for the princesses and bit her. So it reminds us that if the fate is like that it can't be changed. Its just 200 meters or so... More

I took the little launch across from Uskudar which was rather expensive at 20TL for a 2 minute crossing. Once there you can sit out and admire the view, and climb the tower.. cafe at the top, but the visit does not take long at all.. but at least you can say you've been there!

Although the Tower itself was well worth visiting and only reachable by boat I would not recommend the restaurant where we enjoyed a most unenjoyable, rather expensive meal, with very disapponting service. Maybe we were unlucky and found it on a bad day

I have always wanted to visit this place and this time I had the chance. We really enjoyed visiting Kiz Kulesi. It has a great view of Istanbul. We took a ferry boat from Eminonu to Uskudar and then walked for about 10-15 minutes. The fee for visiting this location costs 20tl (including transportation with a small boat KizKulesi 3... More
