We were stunned by this little yet beautiful tower and the restaurant run inside it. The service was very good and the food was simple but delicious!

The interior of the tower has been transformed into a popular café and restaurant, with an excellent view of the former Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman capital.[4] Private boats make trips to the tower several times a day

Some of the reviews about Maidan's Tower are quite cynical. I visited this place in Oct and I believe it is worth seeing. Yes, it's not going to be impressive like the Blue Mosque but it has a lot of history and is worth the trek. I took the ferry from terminal 2 of the old city to Uskadar. The... More

getting there and looking it up close is an experience, i would go back again any time when ever i am in town. its got folklore strings that ring distant fairyland bells. the small rock outcrop with a history is charming. food is ok a bit expensive but its in the middle of the Bosporus! so ok i guess.

Beautiful tower with many legends and myths about the build. My favourite place to smoke nargile right on the seaside and look on Kiz Kulesi.

it took a little more than 1 hour to visit kiz kulesi (maiden tower) to go there and come back to the European side. I took a turyol ferry from eminonu to uskudar. the tickets kiosk of turyol comes after the traditional boats of balik ekmek (fish sandwiches boats).after reaching uskudar iskelisi I walked through salacak sahili yolu, after 15-20 minutes...
