I read many Trip Advisor reviews on Turkey tours and went with the "Turkey Triangle Tour" with the Turkey Travel Bazaar. My advisor/contact was Mehmet Fidan, who was extremely competent and helpful. This tour was amazing for numerous reasons. It was billed as an 8 or 9 day tour from Istanbul to Cappadocia to Konya, Pamukkale, and Ephesus, and back... More

I was making preparations for my trip to Turkey when my friend told me to visit Cappadocia. I googled for images online and I was stunned by the beautiful landscapes. I immediately decided that Cappadocia is a must and it should be added to my itinerary. I searched for travel tours online and I emailed around 3 different travel operators... More

I booked a 2-day Cappadocia Tour with Travel Bazaar in July which included all the costs including return airline tickets from Istanbul to Cappadocia, accommodation, breakfast and lunch and the bus tour itself. I also booked a Hot Air Balloon Ride for the second morning at 5am. All I can say is it was an amazing experience which could not... More

We were 5 couples and visited Turkey in July 2015. We stayed there for one week and visited Istanbul, Izmir, Pamukkale and Cappadocia. Through Turkey Travel Bazaar, we made bookings for daily sight seeing tours, hotel pick / drop etc. While planning the trip, I got in touch with different travel companies but ultimately we chose Turkey Travel Bazaar which... We had booked this special tour in order to gain access to mosques in Istanbul which had formerly been Christian churches or monasteries. The agency tried to reach me by mail the day before the tour to tell me that most places were closed due to restoration works, but when I travel I am unable to receive emails. Our guide... More

I booked a one day trip of Istanbul that included a boat ride on the Bosphore and a visit of the city afterward. The first part of the trip, going on top of the hill across the city and the river trip was fine, but the second part was terrible. We do not really visit much, 2 stops only, one... More

If I knew that out of a 13.5 hour day, I would only be spending 2.5 hours at Pamukkale then I would never have done this tour. The timings need to be set out clearly and they are not and they are actually incorrect on the website. The pick-up from Izmir was 7am not 7.30am and even then there was... More

Turkey Travel Bazaar promised that the driver would take me to the airport at 4:15am from Istanbul to Konya - and that driver was right on time. They also help planned my Istanbul tour for a swirling dervish show, but since my flight was so delayed, I couldn't see it. :( But for all Turkey tourism needs, I recommend Turkey... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
