Besiktas is a part of Istanbul, situated in the European part of the city. In this neighborhood one can visit the famous Dolmabahce palace, have a nice walk next to the Bosphorus, stay in some very nice hotels and find some very interesting shops. It's an area where tourists will find good food and some shops.

Besiktas is an area of Istanbul, along the Bosphorus just north of Beyoglu. As a tourist there's the Dolmabache palace and mosque among a few other sights. It is not as interesting an area as Sultanahmet or the rest of the old city. Besiktas has a popular football team, one of three top Turkish clubs. Their home stadium Inonu stadium... More

A beautiful district of the city, with many great sights, parks and pretty neighborhoods such as Arnavutkoy,Ortakoy,Bebek! Moreover there are lots of markets and fleas. At night Besiktas is a place full of life. Your choices of bars, restaurants and cafes are endless
