Suggest you ALWAYS have an idea of the cost of a tax fare prior to taking a taxi in and around Istanbul . I had several bad experiences where the cab drivers would try and charge 2, 3 and even 4 times the correct fare.. Make sure the cab drivers know you are aware of the distance and fare ! More
