Jennifer and her entire staff are amazing. The quality of the products is second to none. I've bought towels for years from Frette and Misoni Home - I'm totally converted and will go out of my way to purchase more towels from Jennifer's shop in the future (was only able to grab 2 bath towels and 6 hand towels due... During our visit to Istanbul, we found this series of three shops at Arasta Bazaar (recognizable by the small Canadian flag in the windows) and bought quite a little tower of pestamels and towels for friends and family. The shops are small, friendly and very professionally run, there is plenty of choice among very, very beautiful towels and pestamels, all... More

Jennifer's Hamam was recommended to our group by a friend of a friend. With so many stores to choose from in Istanbul selling what appears to be a similar product, I'm really glad we had a recommendation. I first visited the store on Sunday, May 9th for a quick visit to check out some of the products in the window... More

We stumbled upon this charming little shop during our first visit to Istanbul, and keep returning just to buy more products. The quality is outstanding. All the items are hand made by Turkish artisans. It is a dying art and Jennifer is working with some of the few remaining weaving families. If you want beautiful investment pieces that are authentic,... More

This shop is not the cheapest, and you can find plenty of clean shops selling similar goods in the area at lower prices; but sometimes you do get what you pay for. If you just want to say you purchased a souvenir "Turkish towel" and the purchase price is your deciding factor, then this is not the place for you.... More

My son and I recently traveled to Istanbul and we were shocked at how many of the 'local' products-- scarves, towels, rugs, hats and more-- are actually made in India or China! Then we happened upon Jennifer's Hamam, a unique establishment with three shops in the Arasta Bazaar. It's the only place where you can buy handmade Turkish towels and... More

Incredible hand-loomed blankets, scarves and towels make this store a must see. For me, this was the Istanbul shopping experience I'd been dreaming of. I loved that the prices were set and that all the people working in the store could tell the stories of the different weaves and fibers--silk, linen, and ecologically grown cotton.

I bought four medium size towels in vibrant colors and 2 wash clothes for gifts. With the towels you have to submerge them in water for 24 hours and then let them air dry. When I got them home and did all that, they came out so nice and fluffy and look beautiful. The textures are different from anything else... More

We met both Nicky and Jennifer this week and will remember our experience as one of the highlights of our visit to Istanbul. We are pleased that Jennifer supports local weavers still working with the traditional shuttle looms, but that would mean nothing if they were not producing a beautiful, high quality product that provides incredible value for the money....
