A note to all those out there who appreciate products with soul and someone you can trust to sell them to you. Our family was in Istanbul a few years ago when we happened upon Jennifer’s Hamam in the Arasta Bazaar – you can recognize the store by the Canadian flag in the window. We bought 5 large bath sheets.... More

I stumbled across this store by accident after looking for reviews on something completely different, but after a few minutes reading the reviews on here I knew I had to visit this shop. Located in Arasta Bazaar it is fairly easy to find near to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Upon entering it looks like any other towel seller... More

Visited this store after reading the reviews on tripadvisor and came away with 6 towels and a bathrobe. The staff were so friendly and took time to educate us on their products. There was no pressure at all to buy but obviously when we did but they were trying to sell us more ! All done in very friendly ways... More

This is an oasis. Pretty products and great soaps. I will wash them according to information, and I will hopefully return next time to buy some more. I recommend this store. I loved it and wanted at least one of all things they sell

Read about these towels, and after visiting the store twice, decided on a pair of bath towels and 6 soaps. We were not hassled at all, we even visited the showrooms, again no hassle to buy more. Have not been told how to wash for the first time use though, so that's my only concern! What do I do? Is... More

Lots of people have been singing praises for this store and a few have criticised it, so I'll make my review short and to the point. In a city where shopping outside of the large stores/ shopping malls can be full of pitfalls with pushy sellers, often dishonest ones who would not think twice about making you pay for items... This shop is a real hit for traditional Turkish towels . They make great gifts , they have oils soaps and other bath related things all in tasteful colours and designs.

The truth is, I was trying to avoid this store on my trip to Istanbul, for fear that it might be a tourist trap (even though I've read quite a bit of good reviews about it on various sites). I already happily broke my bank the day before, so I was avoiding other shopping temptations. But when I accidentally left... More

We visited Jennifer's Hamam on the Lonely Planet recommendation and I can not say enough about the products and the service. We visited the shop in Arasta Bazaar. (We much preferred the Arasta Bazaar over the main covered bazaar.) Because we could not decide what we wanted and we were spreading towels all over the place, we were taken to... More
