This is a nice place to shop and see authentic art work and handicraft works. The entrance to the store seemed very uncommon and classic. There were some good pierces of artwork and clothing.

It subsumes the spirit of the city. A quiet, relaxed place with an amazing selection of books, artifacts, clothing, souvenirs that you can carry back home. Located in a quiet residential part of Colombo, this place should be a must to-do in your colombo itinerary. It has an open cafe where you can enjoy a good read.

This shop sells a wide range of gifts, handicrafts, textiles, clothing, art works, books and toiletries. The hand woven fabrics are special and brightly coloured. We bought a bowl (LKR680.00) and placemats (LKR400.00 each), made of newspaper which is a great recyling advertisement. At the back of the shop is the outdoor cafe which is well worth a lunchtime break... More

Great vibe in this courtyard which includes a shop with many traditional and modern Sri Lankan goods as well as a really nice restaurant which has an earthy and laid back atmosphere. We enjoyed cocktails and food to the sound of a great chilled out jazz ensemble in the courtyard. Heaven!

This bright and cheery store is loaded with fun gifts, books and fabrics. The gallery attached to the cafe outside also has great art at very reasonable prices.

Stumbled upon this little gem on my first day in Colombo. It's swinging on Sunday afternoons, there's a live local jazz band, and there's a queue to be seated so get there early! Tony, the manager, is the epitome of jovial. He made me feel right at home and gave me lots of tips on what to do with the... More

We visited Barefoot several times in our stay, mostly for lunches, which were good, well presented and very tasty. The prices were good too, with lunch for two coming in around 2000/rs inc tax and service. Liked the shop too :-)

I loved the old house and the decor, was so relaxed and inviting. Some of the staff not really welcoming, but I guess there used to a lot of tourist... arts and crafts item nice and varied... however a bit pricy... got the same stuff away from Colombo for half the price. But worth a visit if your there. Go... More

Everything is very expensive in this store, waste of time and money. Nothing much to buy if you really interested in buying only souvenir like tshirt or keychain.
