A beautiful colonnial building in the heart of Colombo, tucked away among the tall towers. There is choice of restaurants a couple of gift shops and a pub. We ate outside in the courtyard. Fab night out!!

The former hospital has been up-dated to provide a very pleasant shopping and dining complex in central Colombo. There is also a spa. We loved the craft shops and also the cafes, visiting twice during our stay. There is no traffic and no tuk-tuk drivers to hassle you ! This is an oasis of calm !

I've already been here three times with friends and family. And we dined at the 'work in progress' restaurant run by the Colombo Hilton on all three occasions, mainly because they serve on the beautiful open air courtyard which is pretty much the heart and soul of the Dutch Hospital. Sitting out here on a clear night is an awesome...
