Beautiul Old Building

Externally it has been retained as it was years ago but inside it contains a number of reasonable restaurants and one or two shops. Well worth a visit.

I would not go out of my way to visit the Dutch hospital shopping precinct. Just not enough happening, very few shops, some restaurants with only the Heladiv Tea Club opening before 11.00am. Plenty of seating...unfortunately made of concrete and in the hot sun, does not encourage one to sit and stay a while. Again another place with great potential... More

Not much here. A few snazzy restaurants and a couple of touristy shops. The environs lack any interest. A shame really. One day?

This space is a historical building renovated to combine both heritage and modern architecture - the aim is achieved. It houses a vast range of dining options, shopping experience (Odel and Barefoot - both focusing on Sri Lankan culture among many things) and a spa. Very electric in the night, with live music being played by various bands and the... More

Few shops and no atmosphere to speak of. Waste if time going there - very overhyped. Mainly eateries which looked very upmarket.

From reading other reviews prior to our visit, I thought this place would have been a lot bigger, and with a lot more atmosphere. One end is taken up with the Ministry of Crabs restaurant. There were a couple of bars and shops and the Colombo Fort Café. That was about it. A five minute stop and you have seen... More

Amazing old building with great architecture and restaurants and shops - but they are all upper price range so we just took a walk there and then headed off ... The restaurants offer great food and the sitting environment is excellent -- the prices are upper standard :(

Coffee shop, restaurants, shopping, team lounges, police station, upmarket brands, factory second outlets in the closet location. This has it all. Some of the biggest restaurants are here and from the looks and way it is spread out, am sure it has to be one of the best spots for the evening. Coffee shops for the light lunches and heavy... Dutch Hosputal is a small nice building with mostly café's. In the back you will find Nature Secrets where you can have wonderful massages and facial treatments. I had one and enjoyed it. It's 4000 for an hour treatment the products are very good, based on herbs. Worth your while if you are tired from the city traffic.
