We wanted to visit both Odell and Barefoot while in Colombo, so it was great to find both shops in the same place. We visited on a Sunday just on 10.00am opening time, and spent an easy hour wandering around and enjoyed cool drinks at the tea house. Both Odell and Barefoot had a good range of well priced items.... More

Great complex of shops. The Ministry of Crab was not open for lunch at the weekend, great shame. All the shops are well presented and stocked, as were the cafés. Nice place to spend an hour or two and grab some food on the way.

If you want a nice place to have a drink followed by a nice dinner after a long day in Colombo, this is the best option. The restoration has maintained the charm while providing a great restaurant complex for the modern traveller. Located close to the best part of the city, getting to the Dutch hospital complex is not a... More

We searched for top things to do in colombo and this was one. It was just a westernised, over priced food complex. If you are wanting afternoon tea then this is a lovely place.

We visited the dutch hospital Complex couple of times during our stay. First of all it was close to our Hotel. They have a lot of place with different varieties of food available. For sea food it has the Ministry of Crab, for continental food they have the colombo for cafe, WIP etc. They also have a Spa and art... More

This place is great for families and couples. Lots of options for restaurants-kids wanted pizza-Crab factory has amazing food plus there are live bands on weekends. The open courtyard also makes this a lovely place to chill! Will definately go back!

Very nice hang out with trendy shops and also restaurants.tappers pub is a hit. you will find Ministry of Crab owned by Mahela and Sanga (for cricket fans)there. it is amazing transformation to once abundant and dutch hospital building to night attraction today whilst remaining the original architecture in tact.

This is fairly newly developed in Colombo and offers lots of restaurant choices. The Ministry of Crab and other breakfast, lunch and dinner choices. It also has a small version of ODEL which is great for clothes shopping and souvenirs. Its well set out and has very clean/new bathrooms.

This place is near to The Kingsbury. Has a variety of options for drink & dine. Seems to be quite popular with the young crowd, mostly enjoying the pitcher beer and variety of snacks. TAPHOUSE by RnR has some exotic but tasty veg dishes/salads.

Built as a hospital by the Dutch, it has been used for several different purposes, over the years. It is believed to have existed since 1681. The Dutch built the hospital to look after the health of the officers and other staff serving under the Dutch East India Company. The hospital's close proximity to the harbour allowed it to serve...
