Make sure you don't miss a good look around this temple, becaus it's one of the places that does send you a kind of magical spiritual feeling. Was there when a thunderstorm broke out so we stopped under shelter for a while and ... wow! More

Wat Sisaket is a temple turned religious museum that houses over 800 Buddha statues, most of them inches high and residing in pairs in rows and rows of cornices. Like other Wats in Vientiane, this one is ok. Run down and with little of interest to see, Si Siket pales compared to it's beautiful Thai counterparts More

Vientiane, the capital city of Laos, is as quiet as the sleepiest city in Isaan, Thailand's dry Northeast, and this is the quietest part of all Thailand. Located at main road in town, this temple had Thai style. 'Wat' means temple.It is built at 1819 and restored by French in 1930. Entrance fees 10,000kips. Many buddha images. More
