We took a tuk tuk to there cost us $3. Great place to get cheap dinner. And buy souvenirs. Always bargain, you could get at least 25% off!!! But be realistic and polite. Saw a pommy lady shouting at a vendor which I think is pretty rude. After all they are trying to make a living. And we will never... More

For the seasoned traveller who has been to night markets all over Asia, this particular market has probably the least to offer. It is just the same goods (mainly imitation wares) repeated at each stall. It gets really crowded and warm at night which is what makes it a haven for pickpockets. There was a local lady behind me who... More

Interesting to have a browse around, but if you've been to one market you've been to them all. There are also food stalls where you can purchase food and sit on the mats.

This market opens at 5 pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only. T-Shirts, shorts, footwear etc. Prices are roughly $2-$3 for all types of clothes so it's pretty good to go there and stock up!

On our last night we took a trip here for last minute shopping. My daughters bought pyjamas and jeans for $2.50. They were excellent for the price and were a little different to Australia. There is music playing, food to eat and it was a pretty relaxed atmosphere. All in all, I felt safe and came away with a lot... More

It was a bit hurried, but we spend about two hours at the market, looking curiously at the crowd and all the wares for sale. My friend bought a straw hat and light sandals for our next destinations. With all the milling crowds of young people, one feels new life surging through oneself... A lovely experience if you do not... More

Ok first, you can buy any of a number of great things to eat. There is an amazing party vibe that is so Southeast Asian it couldn't be anything else. Pubs serving great drinks everywhere, tons of things to buy and look at. An amazing river with a beautiful little bridge... Yea. I had a blast.

It is quite an experience to shop at a night market. It's like attending a carnival back home. People are friendly, and the lights add to the excitement.
