We had nothing planned so we got in a Tuk Tuk to check out the night market. Let's put it like this - being there was like having nothing planned. Cheap replicas and food that would make you diet. Sorry!

I saw exactly the same clothing and souvenirs in other night markets in Cambodia and Thailand. I mean, EXACTLY the same. There was this one dress with a banana print made of an unusual fabric that I remember having seen everywhere. Still, it was fun to go, wander around, people watch, and visit the food area and listen to the... More

Went to this market on a Sunday evening. Many clothing and other stalls to look at and buy cheap goods. Also had an area at one end to purchase a range of Khmer food and sit on mats to eat. Worth a visit but not great.

This market is situated over the road from the river and easy to get to and from. Has large stage and has entertainment as well as many shops selling clothes, food, gifts etc. there are many restaurants near by as well as many food vans. usually open Friday Saturday and Sunday but is sometimes open from Wednesday onwards for special... The night market had very limited selection and was essentially a giant outdoor mall. If looking for a market with handmade goods and gifts, check out the Russian market. There was some entertainment going on up on a stage while we were there, a skit Or comedy routine and many locals were there watching, which was interesting. But the shopping... More

We were a little disappointed with the night market. There were a lot stalls but mostly all were selling the same clothes, very limited selection. We were hoping to find a market with variety of different items but it just seemed to be clothes.

Real Khmer food, lots of locals and tourists but very cute place to sit around on mats and indulge in Khmer food, balut included. A lot of clothes and other stores full of cheap merchandise. A must see.

I've felt like back from to the past, people wore clothes like 15 years back, the music, the building, the area is in the middle of the market area, next to mekong river (black water's river) for food stall surrounding a big mat, place for you to eat on the street, joined other tourist and local people. most of the... If the central market is over rated then this place should be avoided at all costs. Nothing new, smaller scale than central market but a total waste of time. Opened Wednesday to Sunday nowadays.

Too many people for me. The market seems to be full of clothes and junk with hardly any room to walk between stalls. The best bit is the food stalls where you can pick up fried noodles and rice for less than a dollar.
