This was an amazing new experience for me. I learned how to barter and I enjoyed all the colors and variety.

Nice outdoor market, with lots of clothes, belts, scarves, wallets, and costume jewelry. Good place for t-shirts and hippy pants. Did more people watching than shopping, however. Lots of locals eating, shopping and enjoying life. Great to see! Kept a close watch on our belongings and had no problems. The shopkeepers even reminded us to watch our things, which was... More

Basic and lack the buzz you get with a night market. Food stalls seems to serve all the same things. Other stalls do not stock products of appeal. You get better energy by walking in the Old Market in the adjoining streets.

It's a busy street but compared to other ones in Asia it's considered less crowded and easy to walk around, as there aren't many streets that cross along the shopping area, walk up and down most of the shops are selling the same. If you are buying a hammek I would recommend you check it well.

This is a smaller market and I was looking forward to leisurely wander around. I did for the first half an hour and then disaster strike. Never felt a thing to start with then turned around and my back pack had been opened both top zip and purse taken and main zip open. Nothing taken from the main zip as... More

I have traveled to SE Asia regularly over the past 5 years and thoroughly enjoy hitting the world class night markets. This place however is NOT one of them for several reasons: A) Their Is a profesional Pickpocket ring that operates here , they took my phone in about 5 minutes flat, even though I read the warnings. B) The... More

If you're looking for decent quality t-shirts or belts, this is a good, fun place for a couple hours. With a warning, they cater for local sizes only, so if you're more than a "M" you're out of luck.

Doesn't really compare on scale with some of the other night markets in SE Asia, but you might as well take a look round. Most of it is clothing with the odd souvenir / jewellery stall. Was very busy when we went, keep an eye on your possessions.

We went to the night market at about 6:30pm just after the sun had set. There was many stalls but almost all of them where women's clothes. You do need to fight your way through the crowds but it is less hectic than the Russian market. Enjoy !
