Description: Daughters of Cambodia is a social enterprise empowering victims of...
Daughters of Cambodia is a social enterprise empowering victims of trafficking to leave the sex industry through alternative employment. At the Daughters Visitor Centre, visitors can gain insight into the endemic of trafficking that is ravaging Cambodia while learning more about what Daughters is doing to stop it. Moreover, visitors can actually participate in our work by frequenting one of the three social enterprise businesses housed at the Visitor Centre — our fair-trade shop, cafe or women's spa — all of which provide former victims of trafficking with the vital income and skills to build thriving lives for themselves outside the horrors of the sex industry. To see the cafe's menu or a list of the spa's services, find the Daughters of Cambodia Visitor Centre on Facebook. If you have a large party, please call ahead of time to allow us to better accommodate you.

This easy to miss cafe and shop is on 178 st opposite the Univerity of Art. A NGO there is a film to watch that explains the work and ethos of the organisation which rescues and retrains under age sex workers. Cafe varied , very clean and run by young women.

Nice selection of gifts, nursery/kitchen decorations and clothes on sale. Prices are similar to that in the western countries but it's good to know that even though paying similar price to what you can get at home, the monies are going towards a good cause to help women and men that have been part of the sex industry get out... This was a truly meaningful experience! The food was delicious and the staff friendly and helpful! The shop was so much more fun after watching the project video. Didn't get a chance to try the spa. The manager came to our table and visited with us for quite awhile. In terms of impact, I'd say it was the highlight of... More

Went especially to have coffee with the Daughters of Camboda this morning! The coffee, th brownie, the slide and the handicrafts all make a difference to Cambodia's daughters. I felt really happy to help in a small way towards helping girls have a good and safe life.

This boutique sells goods made by girls & boys trying to change their life around by moving out of the sex trade. They have recently set up Sons of Cambodia for the trans sexual boys. The goods are beautifully made & reasonably priced. There is a video upstairs explaining what they do. Worth a visit.

This is a great little shop selling lots of awesome souvenir items, bags, t-shirts, jewellery and stuff for kids! In general the items run a little bit more expensive than the Friends n Stuff shop. There is an excellent cafe upstairs - great coffee and all day brunch! Try the Khmer Iced Coffee! And as if that wasn't enough they... More

A great respite from the heat. Lovely cafe upstairs with a great menu, good variety and nice healthy options. Friendly staff and quality products sold downstairs for a good cause (both the daughters and sons of Cambodia)
