Description: Daughters of Cambodia is a social enterprise empowering victims of...
Daughters of Cambodia is a social enterprise empowering victims of trafficking to leave the sex industry through alternative employment. At the Daughters Visitor Centre, visitors can gain insight into the endemic of trafficking that is ravaging Cambodia while learning more about what Daughters is doing to stop it. Moreover, visitors can actually participate in our work by frequenting one of the three social enterprise businesses housed at the Visitor Centre — our fair-trade shop, cafe or women's spa — all of which provide former victims of trafficking with the vital income and skills to build thriving lives for themselves outside the horrors of the sex industry. To see the cafe's menu or a list of the spa's services, find the Daughters of Cambodia Visitor Centre on Facebook. If you have a large party, please call ahead of time to allow us to better accommodate you.

It is not far away from the National Museum but it took us some time to find it. Go upstairs is a totally different world relative to the busy street outside. Stay relaxed and enjoy healthy food. Our top picks were: onion soup, mango chicken sandwich, spiced garden chai tea latte and banoffee cheesecake. Enjoy! http://hkindependent-traveller-croatia.blogspot.hk/2014/10/phnom-penh-hotels-and-restaurants.html

the materials in here do not distinguish themselves from so many other places doing simple cloth and cheap toys/trinkets/souv's. It looks cluttered, nothing stands out. The stuff in there is "overdone". For those who want to contribute to the NGO, they would probably rather make a donation that buy something that has little value....but that's just me. I would not... More

Important place to visit and shop. I love that this little shop supports women breaking away and starting new lives from their troubled past. The upstairs little cafe is also good..and lovely items for sale.

They run a beautiful project. The restaurant is very good – worth visiting there for lunch. Do not forget to watch to video in the second floor, will give a better idea on what they do. The shop downstairs was a bit too expensive. Felt a bit uncomfortable with the christian-missionary character of this organization, but this does not change... More

Our reward for enduring the heat of the museum(opposite) was morning tea in this gorgeous place, peaceful and serene and all the more remarkable when you think of how these young women have turned their lives around. My husband was a little put out that he couldn't get a pedicure here, being that he is male! Totally reasonable I said.... More

A great social enterprise and a lovely place to eat great food away from the heat and bustle outside. The chips were so tasty, as was the gnocchi. You would be delighted to get served this in a five star restaurant.

Help victims of the sex trafficking trade by visiting this non profit making fair trade shop which sells lovely things made by young women and men who have been given a chance and opportunity to change their lives. The money from the sales goes towards training, counselling, medical care and teaching skills.

We went up to the cafe first, after booking in a shoulder massage. Love the cafe decor and the food was really good. Great menu selection, there's bound to be something for everyone. We had the fish and chips, and the gnocchi. Both were tasty and the fish & chips nice and crispy. The service was good as well, efficient... More
