The Flicks 1 on Street 95 is the legendary movie house from the time there was no other big screen in town, located in an original wooden Cambodian house and features an all air conditioned bar and a leafy outside terrace. Its movie room seats 30 people. The Flicks 2 is its new little brother in the city center and also screens the must-see movie for all visitors, The Killing Fields, daily in its 20 seats movie room. Enjoy your movies for only $3.50 Per day, with a drink, snacks and homemade fresh popcorn! « less

We went to Flicks 2. Overall the experience was fine but there are a few things that could be improved on. The wicker chairs are not very comfortable, there could be more cushions to help with this. Also there isn't enough height difference between the rows of chairs so you end up watching the film with someone else's head in... More

This is truly one of the best cinemas I've ever been to! There are comfy beds and pillows in the room, so you can just lie down, drink a cold coke and enjoy the show. I went to Flicks 1 which is on a quiet street, and as I had a bad map, took some time to find. Once there,... More

Perfect little cinema to find a bit of respite out of the busy streets. The comfy beds are great, the films shown are fantastic and the popcorn is wonderful. We saw 2 oscar nominated films here and the atmosphere is friendly and cosy (with acon too!). And it's a bargain.

Wonderful little community run cinemas in the heart of Phnom Penh. They may not be big, but they still give you the proper cinema experience with fresh popcorn, fizzy pop, trailers and three films for the price of one! Yes, it's a flat rate entry fee of $3.50 regardless of how many film you decide to see. It's a bargain!... More

book a ticket online and you can see the next one and the next one in this really cool lounge cinema thing. But first go up to the rooftop terrace (Flicks 2 #90, 136) cos that too, is the best.

you can book online (reservations), they are very nice ( travellers working there), and the cinema room is very cool with the places to lay . And they bring food to you, if you order before. Good movie selection

We went to Flicks 2. Their food/drinks are really overpriced for Cambodian standards, so this is mainly an expat place.... only expats in our movie. The first 2 rows of the tiny theater were decked out with comfy pillows to sit on, but the last 2 rows were these really uncomfortable wicker couches with barely any cushioning. They need to... More

Dear Kristin, On behalf of the volunteer staff at The Flicks Community Movie Houses I would like to thank you for your review. It's true that food and drink prices might be higher than Cambodian standards, but we rent our venues as westerners with western prices. That's how Cambodia works too. Next to that The Flicks is there to serve... More

We visited the movie house once during our stay in Phnom Penh and loved the chilled vibe and comfy beds. The movie screen is massive and you can pay once and stay for all the movies! Great value for a chilled evening.

Went to see The Killing Fields here. Means so much more when viewing this film in Cambodia. A Must See! Recommend booking though as can get quite busy and only a small venue. (Which adds to the atmosphere) Excellent value.

I watched two movies here and I must say I was impressed. I got a chance to lay down and watch movies after walking around the Russian Market. I highly recommend this place. The cinema could have been a little bigger.
