We (aussie couple, 50's) loved the Mekong islands tour with Amom. We had some trepidations being inexperienced cyclists and the hot April weather but Amom made it easy and memorable for us. Take this tour to get away from the hustle and bustle of PP and perhaps learn about the real Cambodia.

A much improved ride on Mekong Islands due mainly to Vicheka our guide, a humorous and full of local knowledge man. Roger. T.

I will agree with most of the reviews below. I rode with Amom and she definitely made the experience more memorable! I come from India so seeing the country side of Phnom Penh would not have been so novel to me otherwise. It was only Amom and me when I rode and she was as friendly to me as to... More

The Grasshopper Mekong island tour is a fantastic ride & a great introduction to Cambodia. Starts w/ a brief peddle thru congested Phnom Penh, then it's on to a local ferry which transports you to a rural scene just across the river. It is an interesting, fun, well-planned half day ride. Most biking is on easy to peddle rural roadways... More

My dad and I did the 55km Oudong trail with November during our March 2014 stay. We are casual cyclists and found the trail challenging but fun. My dad is 56 years old and had difficulty keeping up but November, our guide was very patient and waited for him. However, at the end of the day, my dad was satisfied... More

I went on the Islands of the Mekong half day bike trip this morning, it was just me and the lovely guide Vicheka. He has a great personality, great English, knows the information needed and was great company. The tour was a nice getaway, something different to just the usual city sightseeing. Stopped at a silk farm I guess you'd... More

Our family of 4 toured the Islands of the Mekong with Amom and had a great experience. We wove our way through quiet island roads, around cows lazing on the path.. and high fiving the little kids who were excited to see visitors. Amom planned ahead for great snacks (mango, jackfruit, mangosteen and melons) in front of a family silk... More

We did the Islands Of The Mekong day trip in Feb 2014. Loved it! Our guide, Amom, was fantabulous. She ROCKS! We had So much fun and are SO happy we did it. The bikes were high quality and in excellent condition. The tour takes you through bucolic rural areas with lots of interesting things. The kids love to say... More

We had a day and a half to spend in Phnom Penh. Just by wondering around the city you dont get a chance to taste the rural parts. Amom, our bike tour guide did an excellent job by leading us thru villages on the other side of the river. We took the ferry to cross the river and were in... More

This was a great bike ride and one certainly gets to see a varied side of Cambodia, from railways to fruit stalls, cows to monkeys, plenty of fruit to eat along the way and a great guide too. Amuum did a great job and speaks good English, a very keen cyclist and talkative. Plenty of good information. The temple stop... More
