Breathtaking views but sad development project

Very high up in the mountains and interesting old buildings to enjoy. However sadly the rich man has built a resort and casino there, with plans to make a city up there. Which... read more

Very high up in the mountains and interesting old buildings to enjoy. However sadly the rich man has built a resort and casino there, with plans to make a city up there. Which will just be for the rich and not for the Cambodian people. So they will cutting down trees and destroying the nature just to make something glitzy... More

First, go to to see the miniature version of what the mountain will look like in the future. Located nearby the first roundabout.

We rented a pair of moto’s for the day (best $5 I’ve ever spent!) and set off for the top of the mountain. Make sure your tank is filled up before you set off, as there is no station once you leave town. It was hard not to feel relaxed while ascending up the hill in the cool breeze, stopping... More

The trip there is amazing. We did it by motorbike. The road is the best we've seen in all of Cambodia. The environment is gorgeous! The deserted church and the view on the hill behind it are the highlight. The deserted casino isn't great, but nice to drive by. The waterfall is great during the rainy season. The new resort... We were a group of 5 people, rented 5$ motorbikes in town and drove up ourselves. The drive up on the wide and very well made road alone is worth the trip. The earlier you go, the less cars will be on the road. But went on a Saturday and it was fine both ways. Visit the old church and... More

So, I hired a moto in Kampot - $5 I'm sure I could have found one cheaper, so if you haggle with more vigour than I did then I am certain you'll get a good deal. Believe it or not I was quoted $50 for a days hire in Siem Rheap! The entrance to the park is roughly 12km from... More

From Kampot, rent a motobike (can advise you to stay in Sebana GH), and enjoy going on Bokor. Quite plesant to do, but nothing impressive.

My boyfriend and me went by motorbike to the national park. This was so nice. The streets are very good and you have a beautiful ride with nice stops there and nature there. Sadly we were there in the dry season so the waterfall was dry but still worth to see. The hill next to the old Catholic church was... More

We rented a scooter and just go there without check what it's it before.. and IT WAS GREAT EXPERIENCE! Amazing road ride with beautiful jungle. Sometimes we felt like in USA lol. And sunset point view best one in my life. Recommend for everyone. Don't take a bus.. take scooter and go!

We rented a moto and drove up to the top of Bokor Mountain. It was an easy and scenic ride (with a very good tar road). At the top there is an abandoned casino and church which were quite interesting to explore. We left early (9am) in the morning and it was very foggy and cold, so we could not... More
