We spent a week on Heritage Line's Jayavarman sailing from Siem Reap to Saigon (January 2015). The trip was fantastic - boat, crew, cabins, food, even other passengers -- but particularly the excursions. Everything was beautifully designed and executed, and we would not have missed one of the excellent visits to hamlets, villages, craft centers, and temples along the way.... More

Our family of four (2 adults and 2 children aged 11 & 16) had the most amazing week on the Jahan, cruising up the Mekong river - Saigon to Siem Reap, "The Lost Civilization Cruise" in December 2014. We had two beautiful adjoining "superior staterooms" that were spacious, very well appointed with great bathrooms, comfortable beds and private balcony's. Both... More

The boat is okay, not really luxury, the team friendly, the food OK. The weak point: the sightseeing program: no visit of historic sites like temples, mostly showcase villages of the heritage line, not really interesting. The clou was the floating market visit in the afternoon, we saw the place where it takes place in the early morning, but we... More

1st to get the bad out of the way, the owner of this boat has been let down by the workmanship on the finishes. But the actual design and attention to decor is 1st class. The rooms are of good proportion and well set out. The Australian chef makes fantastic food that has the flavours of Asia but yum for even... More

This is a top rated tour company similar to Viking that does combined land and river boar tours in Cambodia and Vietnam. We did 2 weeks that included hotels and river boating. Everything top class! The hotels were beautiful and the riverboat was great. The boat was furnished in beautiful Asian style rooms with about 120 total passengers. Very nice... More

Was the biggest disappointment of our 3 weeks in Asia. Had already been on the Aqua Amazon River cruise so had high expectations. Food was okay but seemed we had a lot of the same thing. The rooms were nice.. Guides were great. Would hesitate to use this cruise line again. But of course no experience is totally bad -... More

The quick tip to the our is don't get it booked from the hotel :). There is a boat point around the Titanic restaurant (every one knows it) on the sea side, and bargain your bet. We were 4 people and booked a 2 hour private boat for 50$, got our food, music and wine. The evening was fantastic and... More

The Heritage line's Jahan is a beautiful ship but they need to lift their game a little. It was not their fault that the rive was too low to get to Seam Reap, instead it was a bus rive for a number of hours to get to the ship. I do not do bus, coach at a pinch this thing... More

We visited Cambodia from 14th October and were lucky enough to be invited on the inaugural cruise of the Mekong Dawn. This newly fitted Boutique style boat has 8 comfortable double cabins, all en-suite and fully air-conditioned, a large saloon for taking meals and plenty of deck space front and back for lounging around. We set off from Phnom Penh... More

So all I can say is....there are 12 other boats/companies that do this trip.....do NOT go with cruiseco. We were due to fly out at 9am on a Saturday morning and only found out at 4.35pm on the previous day, what and where we were going to be staying. This was not helped by DBT travel who did not thoroughly... More
