Raffle hotel in Siem Reap was exceptional for friendly service & outstanding breakfast. Local sightseeing well organised. Easy tuk tuk ride to town for dinner where food was good quality and cheap. Do take the time to see 'Phare' which is a short walk from the hotel - like Cique de Soleil without the glitter but more visceral. 5 hr... More

I went in a boat ride in an evening while in Cambodia, Phnom Phen. Worth visiting and beautiful in with the sunset and in moon light. I was lucky to get a view from my hotel and it was right after full moon day. I did enjoy the scenery very much. You should take some water with you, it is... More

We did the cruiseco adventurer upstream starting in Saigon. Our cabin was spacious, the facilities comfortable, especially the shower which was surprisingly large. The meals were very good with plenty of choices. The crew aways helpful. Our tour guides in Vietnam and Cambodia were knowledgeable and punctual.because we traveled upstream, we had a 5 1/2 hour bus trip to Siem... More

Booking last minute and unsure what to expect, we choose a three night/ four day cruise on The Heritage Lines Jayavarman, -(Pearl of the Orient, Phenom Penh to Ho Chi Min) , and as cruise novices we could not have made a better choice of travel to go from Cambodia to Vietnam. We might be new to cruising, but enjoy... More

Brilliant. Siem Reap to Ho Chi Minh City. Started with 2 nights in the Hotel Raffles d'Ankor Wat - what a great old-style hotel with cigar case, old-fashioned lift and ceiling fans. Wonderful ambiance and staff. Then a very, v e r y long bus trip - this was a very jarring experience (literally) of 5 hours (the only downside)... More

We've just returned from a beautiful 8 day cruise on the Heritage Line's Jayavarman boat from Siem Reap to Ho Chi Minh city. This was a truly wonderful experience of luxury and immersion in Cambodian and Vietnamese culture. The boat takes 50 plus passengers, but there were only 17 of us, 4 Aussie couples aged 50 plus; an extended American... More

My husband and I had just returned from the fabulous Avalon Mekong Cruise. The boat was small and intimate accommodating only 32 passengers but there were only 18 of us with 20 staff. Just imagine how pampered we were. Our journey began in Bangkok and ended in Vietnam. From start to finish we has had 5* accommodation and service. The... More

We had a week long trip down the Mekong on the Heritage Line boat the Jahan. Our cabin was fabulous although it was the least expensive available. The Jahan is named after Shah Jahan, who built the Taj Mahal, so is based on Indian design and décor. The cabins are much more spacious than we expected and the décor is... More

This was one of the best things we have ever done and highly recommend it to anyone of any age. Our trip started in Cambodia & travelled to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. The ship was well fitted out and is going to have a refit in June so I won't mention the few niggles we had as I... More
