You really can't miss the Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque as it provides a major focal point no matter where you might be is BSB. It's worth v visiting the area at several different times of the day, especially if you enjoy your photography. The bright glaring sun on the dome in the middle of the day, and the amazing sunsets.... More

Definitely worth walking around this mosque, at different times of day. Also well worth visiting at night. The different viewpoints make for some very nice images. Recommend in particular going outside the metal fence, between the mosque and the river and taking pictures in the afternoon through the fence gaps - very symmetrical views from there. But the mosque is... More

This beautiful mosque provides a stunning photo opportunity. Best to visit when you're covered up (long pants/ skirt) or you can borrow the black robes for free. They're open to tourists in the mornings except Fridays.

It's stunning to see the Mosque and you can definitely take some great photos here at both day or night time! However, The timetable of the mosque is someone needs to pay attention to as there's some time break time during the day that does not allow visitors to go inside.

Another mosque, right in the city center. Well worth visiting and taking a walk around. Please remember the you won't be able to enter inside the mosque on Friday. Very picturesque, well worth a visit during daytime and even during the night!

Beautiful façade but the guard was either ignorant or biased against Americans and he would not let us in even though we were dress appropriately etc.

Travelling for three months and this was one of the most impressive mosques we saw. We got some great pictures. We walked to the mosque and a man there asked us if we'd like to go inside. We both had to put on robes, my wife asked if she should cover her hair but they said no. The area inside... More

The mosque is in the centre, easy to find! They have the time schedule for vistors to go inside the mosque, but the area inside the mosque for visit is very small, the view at the night is very good.

For the same reason as in other mosques visited on a Friday, we were only allowed to take outside photos. But we got to see from the other side of the fence the regular and sharia courts and we likewise took pictures of them.
