Great walk around the mosque gates. Well lit up and enough light for pictures. Landmark of Brunei and hard to miss. A great way to spend an hour after dinner and walk off the food you just ate!

Dont miss it! Just go there and admire this luxurious mosque and the giant lizards in the river..visit last 15-45 minutes depending on your interest.

Mosque and grounds are beautiful. Sadly could only view from a distance as it was closed to tourists for the month of Ramadan. :(

Upon arrival late into Brunei we walked into the city and stumbled across this beautifully lit mosque As it was ramadan we couldn't go outside as entry to the grounds was restricted to non muslims but a walk around the outside allowed us to enjoy the green glow from this mosque. Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque, local called it SOAS mosque. located west of the city. A land mark of Brunei Darussalam. The Omar Ali Saifuddin mosque is beautiful and worth a visit if you're in Brunei. I walked to it from my hotel on a couple of occasions to get pictures of it. It's especially picturesque at night or at dusk.

We enjoyed our visit to the mosque and it looked lovely at night. The staff and also people we spoke to outside the mosque were lovely and welcoming.
