Ms Ko Travels @ www.mskotravels.com "We were in Brunei at the Temburong National Park in 2011, I was 3 months pregnant, this little monkey stopped to looked at me from behind the fence. I got closer and he approached extending his hand and holding it against the wires. I hold mine. I looked into his eyes and he saw through... More

Fantastic wildlife, especially on a night tour. Fascinating rainforest views and the chance to wander through the pristine rainforest. Definitely climb to the canopy for an amazing view.

We went into the Temburong Park with Borneo Guide. A lovely representative met us beside the brunei river and we took a 45 minute water taxi ride to temburong from Bandar Sari Bagawan. Upon arrival we met our guide and drove 30minutes further into the jungle to the Eco Village - which is run by the Iban indigenous people. From... More

In summary, the indigenous Iban people did an excellent job whily Borneo Guide Company had a very poor performance. Borneo Guide company is located opposite of the Brunei Hotel in Bandar Seri Begawan. it was listed within Lonely Planet as recommended tour operator to book a tour in the Temburong National Park. As also noted in Lonely Planet, tours to... More

An awesome trip that takes you right into the jungle and above! Setting off down the river-photocopy of your passport is sufficient, no need to take your passport. The long boat trip is really good and really sets the scene! Make sure you take lots of water and are prepared to get a little muddy if it has rained. The... More

A trip to Temburong may not be cheap but it is an amazing experience, giving the opportunity to see the jungle and wildlife in a much more authentic way that other tours in Sabah offer. From Bandar you will need to take a high speed bost to Bangar thrn a bus, and boat again before getting to the famous canopy... More

Don't be put off visiting Temburong just because you are limited by time or budget. The one day visit organised by Freme is excellent. Hotel pick-up around 7-7:15, onto high speed motorboat ferry down the river, winding through the mangrove swamps and across to Temburong in 45 mins - exhilarating - just watch out for submerged tree trunks and on-coming... I have just been for the second time to Temburong through Borneo Trekking. What an awesome place!! I have been on an overnight stay and a day trip and they were both amazing. The guides are so knowledgeable about the area, forest, history etc. The canopy is high (at least for someone who is afraid of heights) but the guide... More

Booked through a local travel agent. The long-boat ride from Batang Duri to the National Park was amazing - how the boatmen manoeuvred the boats through the rocks and rapids. The jungle was majestic and the air was amazingly refreshing. We were, however, disappointed because of the damaged hanging bridge and the damaged tower up to the canopy walk. I... More

We booked this day tour through Freme Travel and it was excellent. It was a day tour of 3 different parts- all different and all interesting. The first was a water taxi ride with locals across the bay, through the waters of Malaysia to the edge of the park. The water ride was interesting- past mangroves with egret and, at... More
