It is roughly a ride of 1.5 hours from Dhaka. Once you reach the place, you are sure to be touched by the serenity and the weight of the... More

I visited here with my husband and 11 year old daughter. On entering, there are beautiful gardens, with a path leading to the monument. The monument itself is moving to visit, thinking about the number of people who died in the war of independence. Worth making the trip out of Dhaka to visit this memorial.
