Being in Baku, an excursion to Qobustan is a must! Unspoiled by mass tourism you really feel like a discoverer. The graffiti are an impressive sight per se, but also the landscape around in the semi-desert and the view to the Caspian are worth the trip. Located about 1 hour south of Baku this little known historic attraction rises out of the bone dry foot hills.
