I have to say that I was not sure what to expect, but I really like the place. It is full of art, sculptures especially and fountains. And you do not have to walk up the stairs, this place has escalators inside.

In summer, the best time to visit The Cascade is early morning or late in the afternoon. Avoid exploring the place in the middle of the day as it is too hot and might not be able to enjoy. There are beautiful and interesting sculptures or statues on your way to the top whether taking the stairs outside or the... More

Go up to the top of the Cascade steps for a picturesque view of Yerevan. Escalators are available up until 6 pm. On clear days, you can see Mount Ararat

In the 10 years we've been coming to Armenia, we have visited the Cascade each time. And each time it has changed and become better with statues and planted areas and now an array of restaurants. In the daytime, a leisurely trip to the top is well worth with it for the view alone. At night, enjoy the Cascade lit... More

The Cascade is my favorite place to visit in Yerevan. As you take the stairs to the top, art and beauty await you at every step. The art inside and outside of the Cascade complex is breathtaking. The views of the city from the top are amazing. You will be tempted to take pictures left and right. I have traveled... More

We stayed in a hostel right next to the Cascade and it was such a great location! I loved walking around at the park, both during the day (which was hot!) and at night. It's definitely worth walking up and seeing the views over the city. If you keep walking to the very top, you can walk over to visit... More

It's a bunch of steps you walk up and look around the city. There was some work going on so there was quite a bit of safety fencing around.

When you are in Yerevan, being on the Cascade is a must, as recommended by the tour agency staff of VisitArm.com that organized our tour program in Armenia! Especially in the evening the place looks fantastic. There so many cafes and restaurants near it, that you can spend all your life by just checking them. The entire area is full... More

You'll find some really interesting artwork lining the path to the steps. Definitely a good place for pictures and taking in the culture.
