Another beautiful attraction in the center of Yerevan attracting tourists and locals strolling up and down the stairs and enjoying the view from atop. On a clear day, you can see the majestic mount Ararat with its snowy peaks. The museums and the cafes attract hundreds of tourists enjoying a tranquil time.

The Cascade is a beautiful piece of modern landscape and urban design, combining architecture and sculpture. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, both from the outside and through the various galleries inside. There are also lovely cafes just outside the Cascade. I also particularly enjoyed the sculpture of Tamanyan, the great architect of Yerevan.

The sculpture garden at the foot of the Cascade stairway to me is way more interesting than the Cascade itself which is really just a very long stairway. Each piece of art is a work by a foreign sculptor, many of whom are very well-known, such as Botero and Calder. Only those with strong hearts and excellent lungs should attempt... More

Wait until the sun goes down there are escalators but more interesting to try to climb the stairs but not in the heat of the sun. Fabulous views over town, interesting art plenty of restaurants at the bottom a must visit

This is a great place to stroll , view the art which is fun strange and exhilirating in equal measure and enjoy extensive views over Erevan. Though not quite finished it is still a superb addition to Erevans architecture

The construction began in 1971, and seems never completed totally. I like the front yard and park with many statues and fountains. It just a short walk to the back of opera house to reach to this place. Top of the stairwell is 118m higher than the bottom ,with a good view of the city.
