This is my favourite spot in Yerevan, where art, beauty, calmness, nice cafes and simply enjoyable pastime interact. The first thing you see at the cascade is the statue of Tamanyan, Yerevan was re-built by him. Then you follow the main alley to observe lots of different sculptures in the garden of the Cafesjian center of arts. After that you... More

The Cascade is really, really cool. Don't let the 572 steps to the top intimidate you (too much). There are plenty of places to rest and enjoy some art on the way up. Once you're at the top, you're treated to great views of the surrounding city and, if the weather is good, you can see Mount Ararat in the... More

Walk around looking at all the amazing pieces of art scattered around the square, and take a hike up the stairs of the museum for a great view of the city

I was there at a very hot July afternoon; the architecture was so tempting that I couldn't resist it and took the steps (although you can take an indoor escalators and climb up). Each 20-30 steps there is a station with fountains and a special attraction. When you are far up on the hill, you have a great view over... More

I enjoyed looking across at Ararat in the sunshine. The Cascades are the best place from which to do this,

When visiting Yerevan, you must stop at The Cascade, both during the day and at night. It is well worth it for the views and art work. The Envoy Tours, (walking day and night tours) both stop here.

The setting and the museum pieces are terrific. There was a concert at the bottom of the Cascade when I was there. I was told that this happens quite often. The weather was perfect and the crowd was having a great time. A night to remember.

I just loved this place. The art pieces are great and the view of the city with the Ararat as background is one of the best views in Yerevan. It is a shamed that the upper part has not been finished.

Of all the sighseeing places in Yerevan, I liked The Cascade the most. Modern sculptures are really interesting and when you walk to your right ( at the end of each escalator going up ), you can get out and enjoy a nice landscape and even wash your face with the water running out of huge stone pitchers (I did,... Beautiful sculptures and gardens.Very relaxing walk with escalators if necessary for climbing up the hill. The steps make for a gentle climb outside.
