This UNESCO world heritage site has a lot to offer. It's located in a gorgeous canyon, built against the cliffs, with fortified walls and chambers carved out of the mountainside. In the church complex there are multiple altars, rooms, a sacred spring, carvings and khachkars. There are stairs on both sides of the main church, those on the right lead... more
