It's OK as far as temples go. If you've visited Angkor Wat and surrounding temples in Cambodia I wouldn't bother coming here. No impressive carvings, nor does it quite have the same majestic atmosphere, still nicely laid out and looks nice amongst the trees from the road.

These Cham towers are far too interesting to miss even if you only have a passing interest in Vietnam's history - the Champa Kingdom lasted for 1,000 years. They are so close to the town that if you are energetic you can walk there, as I did, just be careful of the sun, the road bridge is safe and easy... More

The Cham Towers are centuries old and these magnificent structures are remnants of the former Kingdom of Champa, which dominated this region of Vietnam from the 2nd to the 15th centuries. The old entrance where the columns are located ends in a vertical staircase which ensured that earlier visitors to the temple were unable to turn their backs on their... More

Temples were great, love the incense, amazing views of the river. I found it quite a spiritual experience. My family members were more impressed with the views and the tranquility of the experience. Amazing that you step just off the street in all its hectic pace and suddenly you're a world away in tranquility!

A visit back in history when these lands were occupied by the Champa people. The religious monuments/buildings are worth a visit, and it is still a sacred place for the vietnamese people. Many local people visit the shrines for religious observances. Sadly, there is not much published about the historical significance of this place. It is only a short distance... More

The Cham Towers at Po Ngar are only a brief and very inexpensive cab ride from the centre of town, and are a must for a visit. Make sure you cover up, although a robe was available to put around you if you had bare shoulders and legs. The view was amazing, and alone worth the $1 USD and AUD... More
