Li from Cafe on Thu Wheels helped to organise a couple of things for us. Both were in a private 7 seat van, and the price quoted was less than elsewhere, but the quality was top notch. The first was a day trip to the DMZ. It cost $110 for a 7-seater along Highway 9 to Khe Sanh military base,... More

Lee arranged this tour at short notice, and very efficiently for us. Sweeter still, at $110 for a 7 seater, it was $10 cheaper than the rate quoted by our hotel. The driver brought us to Dong Ha, where apparently the best guides are based, at which point we were joined by our guide Hai. We got on really well... More

My partner and I did a motorbike your in hue as we were only here for a day and a half and wanted to cover a lot of ground. We paid 500,000 dong for both of us which isn't bad. We were told we could go to the citadel first or last but could tell they really only meant last... More

We had a great time during our motorbike tour to various places in and close to Hue! Never seen so much in such a short time. We always felt safe on the bikes and the guide was great. A definitely "Must do"! P.s. Shakes are also great!

Had lunch which was very good and more than reasonably priced. Thu's brother drove us to Hoi an (4 people). 2,5 hours, modern Toyota Corolla, safe and professional driver at VND 1 050 000. Can recommend.

What a wonderful guide! He spoke great english, was very lovely, and knew a lot about the city. Despite being an unseasonably warm day, it was still enjoyable and a great, affordable way to see the city. Super easy to organise as well, we jumped on a bike just after breakfast.

Did a bike your of the pagodas ons tombs around Hue. Fantastic views, drove down lovely shaded lanes in the surrounding countryside. Guide spoke good English. Tombs and pagodas well worth a visit and it's much better zipping around on bikes than in a crowded tour bus. Good price too.

We took the car tour (2 people) from Hue to Hoi An via the Hai Van Pass which inluded stop offs at a beach, mountain/US bunkers and a restaurant for lunch (not included in the price) as well as multiple photo stops. At 55$ it's not cheap and it's worth considering whether the train journey to Danang will offer the... More
