Absolute waste of time and money. You would be better to do it yourself . Once you pay the initial cost for the tour you are then sprung with an additional cost of $390 000 for entrance fees! The martial arts was bizzare and unenjoyable. Would not recommend to anyone, ever!!

12 US seemed like good value, you pack a lot a in, very entertaining guide who sang on the bus and entertained us,loads of info on everything we saw. You don't spend too long anywhere so you may want to do this first then go back to a few places tomorrow. I really enjoyed the ku fu show, it's a... More

My hotel (HueNino Hotel) booked 2 tours for me, the One Day Tour and the DMZ Tour. The hotel clearly expalined that the One Day Tour included Lunch but excluded Entrance Fees and the DMZ tour included Entrance Fees but excluded Lunch. No problems there. For the One Day Tour, the tombs were intersting but I felt we were quite... More

We booked our one day city tour via our hotel (Jade Hotel) for $12 each and were not disappointed, I would like we researched the options and chose this company but was purely on their recommendation. When we saw the itinerary we were a little concerned that we would not have enough time at some of the attractions but actually... More

Since it's impossible to visit the tombs independently (unless you rent a moto), after some research we bought our tour with Holiday Diamond Hotel. We paid $12 (includes buffet lunch that is OK) with the promise that we wouldn't stop in any shop during the visit (there is an agency that sells it for $8 including several stops for shopping).... We booked the City Day Tour through our hotel. Picked up promptly, big comfortable air conditioned bus. Our guide Jo was fabulous. So funny, excellent English, very much a character. We visited three different tombs, saw a Kung fu performance, had a great lunch, visited the citadel and surrounding buildings, also the big pagoda and the perfume river, finishing off... More

We went there with a simple request: please book us a soft sleeper train ticket for my family of 4. The guy said "no problem" and then phoned the train station, wrote down a price, then crossed it out, spoke in Vietnamese to his colleague (uh oh) and quoted us the price: 992,000 dong for the 4 of us. I... More

Booked a tour through the hotel. It was cheap enough. We soon found out why. No admittance fees. They were all extra. Would have amounted to atleast another US$60 had we gone to each temple and kung fu attraction they stopped at. To make things even sillier, the "English speaking guide" had NO understanding of English at all. Questions were... More

Based on a recommendation from our excellent hotel in Hue (Hanh Dat Hotel), we booked a one day trip to visit the recently opened Paradise Cave (or Dong Thien Duong) in the Phong Nha National Park, which is about 250km South of Hue, with Thang Long City Tours. We paid 780,000 VND (or $39) p.p. for transportation to the cave,... More

We are a family with older teenagers. We are independent travellers and wouldn't normally go on a group bus tour, but we realised we had only one day in Hue and there was so much to see, so we booked this tour at our hotel for $12pp. By the end of the day we were amazed at the value and... More
